Welcome
Welcome to Templates. Templates define the structure of your reports — the sections and instructions the AI follows — so every report comes out in your exact style. Let us create one.
Create a template
Click New Template. Give it a clear name, then describe the structure in the content box: list your section headings, and add instructions in brackets to guide the AI. For example, a heading called Assessment followed by bracketed instructions telling the AI what to write there.
for example lets say we want to create a template for progress notes. we would create a template with the following structure:
``` Presenting Concern [Summarize the client's main reason for the visit in two or three sentences.]
Mental Status [Describe appearance, mood, affect, and thought process.]
Assessment [Provide a concise clinical assessment and any diagnoses.]
Plan [List next steps, interventions, and the follow-up interval.] ```
Save the template
When you are happy with it, click Create Template. It is saved to your library and a green confirmation lets you know it worked. You can keep up to twenty custom templates.
Generate a template from a document with AI
If you do not want to write one from scratch, you can use Upload Template. AI will read the document, extract the structure, and build a matching template for you to review and refine.
Edit and manage
Every template is listed here with its version. Open one to edit its name or content — your changes are saved instantly — and you can delete templates you no longer use, individually or in bulk.
Using templates everywhere
Once created, your templates appear in the Report Template dropdown on the Smart Draft page, and are applied when generating reports from Draft page. You can always come back here to edit their structure and instructions.
